2006 Minority Champions of the Year Award
The Hilo Bank of Hawaii’s President, Mr. Art Taniguchi and Mr. Keene Fujinaka, nominated Puna Kamali’i Flowers, Inc. for the US Small Business Administration’s 2006 Minority Champion of the Year Award. Hawaii’s Honorable Governor, Linda Lingle presented the award in Hilo, Hawaii.

Recycling Award from KWXX Radio Station
The AKEPA Award for Puna Kamali’i Flowers, Inc. newspaper recycling efforts which is preserving the aina ( the land) of the Big Island of Hawaii was awarded to Puna Kamali’i Flowers, Inc. in 2002.
